Zafran is a qualified accountant and long-time resident of Forest Ward, having lived in Waltham Forest for over 30 years. He is passionate about sustainable housing and deeply concerned about the local housing shortage. A strong supporter of the council’s Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) campaign, Zafran supports preventative measures, including better education in schools. His professional expertise enables him to analyse council finances with clarity and precision. Outside of work, Zafran enjoys reading and is an avid football fan, proudly supporting both Leyton Orient and his childhood team, Aston Villa. He is committed to building a fairer community.
